People often say that beauty is only skin deep. Well, I beg to differ. True beauty runs deep into the soul. There are so many things that make a person beautiful. None of them have anything to do with your looks or what you possess. True beauty comes from within. Your actions define your beauty.

Be kind and gentle today. Make a difference in someone's life today. Outer beauty does not last forever, but inner beauty impacts lives for years to come.

We are not all that different

Don't you see?

You will never know it

Unless you get to know me

We have hopes and dreams

We have doubts and fears

Fighting for what's right

Fighting for our place

Fighting just to be heard

To live in peace and see positive change

Act and be the change

Shake a hand, smile and say hello

Get to know your neighbor

Be kind 

Kindness goes a long way

Educate yourself

Don't rely on the words of others

Don't be afraid of what you don't know

Do good things for those less fortunate

It means the world to them

Everyone is trying to make it in this life

Yes, we are different on the outside

Yet, when it comes down to the core of our being

We are not all that different
